How it Started
John and George Ball established Ball’s Falls at the beginning of the 19th century. The Ball brothers purchased 1200 acres of land in the Niagara region back in 1807.

Now, Ball’s Falls is a conservation area. It contains over 471 species of plants and a plethora of animals. Visitors come to the Falls to learn all about its history and to see some of the area’s best natural beauty.

You can view the Ball family home as well as other historical buildings, the operating flour mill, carriage sheds, and more interesting items. One of the top attractions is the Twenty Mile Creek, which varies drastically based on seasonal changes.
Other visitors enjoy the hiking trails and walking along the Cataract Trail or Bruce Trail. Overall, it’s a lovely place for a nice outdoor trip. It offers a storybook glimpse into a past life and several natural sites.
